Kitchen Use Guidelines

Kenneth Musser, Building Superintendent

"Unless the Lord builds the house,
it's builders labor in vain"
- Psalm 127:1

Louise Albert, (814) 237-0528

Reserve the kitchen through Louise Albert at (814) 237-0528.
Use of the church kitchen is subject to the approval of the Kitchen Committee. Supervision of its use is at their discretion. A responsible church member must be present when kitchen is used by outside parties.

Notify Louise Albert if you plan to use the kitchen on Sunday morning prior to 11:00 a.m. so arrangements can be made with coffee fellowship personnel. DO NOT leave any food or juice in the refrigerator to be used for the Coffee Fellowship unless you have first contacted the Coffee Fellowship coordinator.

Be sure that ALL switches on the coffee maker are in the OFF position before leaving. If using coffee from the church supply, the cost is $2.00 per pot, payable to the church office.

If a coffee pot is broken, contact Louise Albert so that it can be replaced.
Be sure stove is turned OFF before leaving. The OFF position is horizontal for all knobs.
Convection oven is the oven on the right side of the stove as you face it, but the on switch for that oven is on the left.

Instructions for all equipment can be found on the shelf under the coffee maker.
Read complete instructions on wall when operating the dishwasher and make sure it is cleaned out and turned off before leaving.
DO NOT leave leftovers in the refrigerator or freezer unless prior arrangements have been made for someone to use them. Label those items so they will not be thrown out.
Wedding Closet: Key in Church Office. When using tablecloths in the wedding closet, you are responsible for washing and ironing the tablecloths before returning them to the closet. A can of spray for stains can be found in the closet.
When using tea towels for church activities you are responsible for washing and returning them to the kitchen.
Be sure the kitchen is CLEANED UP AND LEFT IN GOOD CONDITION before you leave. All equipment should be returned to its proper place.
