At St. Paul’s, children are warmly welcomed into church life. We offer many dynamic programs for children to learn about Jesus and apply what they learn. We emphasize excitement and fun as we help kids build an unshakable faith in a safe, loving environment, and we partner with families to continue faith development at home.
Our Sunday morning classes for three-year-olds through high school seniors emphasize fun and active learning techniques that allow kids to experience and apply the Bible. Classes meet in the Christian Education Center at 9:00 am during the school year.
During our 9:00 am worship service, infant care is available in the Christian Education Center for babies two years old and younger.
Sunday worship services are held in the sanctuary at 9:00 am, and 10:30 am. Children’s worship materials are available at the back of the main sanctuary and in the elevator lobby in the balcony.
This annual five-day summer program for three-year-olds through fifth-graders meets from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in mid to late June. Vacation Bible School emphasizes strong Biblical teaching and out-of-the-ordinary adventure, excitement, and fun!
Children are invited to grow in faith by singing with the children’s choir. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings right after Sunday School. St. Paul’s summer musical camp offers our children and community another opportunity to explore gifts of music and creativity together.
The Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church sponsors a large variety of camps for children and youth.
Service and mission projects are integrated into all children’s programs. Recipients include UMCOR, Centre Volunteers in Medicine, Park Forest Day Nursery, and more.
